Assay Principle:

The Human AmiGO2 ELISA works on the sandwich enzyme immunoassay technique. It employs a microplate pre-coated with a monoclonal antibody specific to Human AmiGO2. Upon incubation after sample addition, Human AmiGO2 binds to the immobilized antibody, while unbound elements are washed away. Introduction of the avidin-horseradish peroxidase (HRP) conjugate initiates color development, with the intestine of the color directly proportional to the amount of Human AmiGO2 present in the sample. The process is terminated upon the addition of an acidic solution which changes the color to yellow. Spectrophotometric measurement of absorbance at 450 nm enables the determination of Human AmiGO2 concentration in the sample by comparing with the standard curve.
