General Description:
Chlorhexidine Digluconate concentrated solution 5% w/v, 1000ml bottle.
Technical specifications:
Each ml contains 5% w/v Chlorhexidine Digluconate equivalent to 2,8% w/vChlorhexidine.
Therapeutic class:
Chlorhexidine is bisbiguanide disinfectant and antiseptic.
Indication:
Chlorhexidine is a disinfectant and an antiseptic that is bactericidaland bacteriostatic against a wide range of Gram-positive andGram-negative bacteria.
Dispensing instructions:
Use as a 0.05% aqueous solution. For 100ml: 1ml of 5% w/v solution +99ml of clear water, boiled a few minutes and cooled.
Do not keep diluted solutions for more than one week, never mix a freshsolution with a ‘leftover’ solution.
Use:
Chlorhexidine must not be mixed with soaps or other anionic materials.
The product should be inspected visually for particulate matters anddissolution prior to use whenever solution and container permit.
Shelf life: 3 years (36 months).
Storage and transportation.
This product must be transported between +15C to +25C, unless specifiedotherwise.
