Pipette is a laboratory instrument used to measure out or transfer small quantities of liquid, in volumes of milliliters (mL), microliters (μL) which are used to transfer precise volumes of a liquid by drawing the liquid up into the tube. The pipette tips are disposable, autoclavable attachments for the uptake and dispensing of liquids. They are made of high molecular material polypropylene without bending, which is widely used in molecular biology laboratories and fit for pipettes of different well-known brands. Filtered pipette tips help to reduce the risk of aerosols forming in the laboratory. They also protect the pipette shafts from contamination and reduce the risk of cross-contamination.
